Connection troubleshooting
- Confirm the provider credential is active and unexpired.
- Grant the read permissions listed beside that provider in ShipIsland’s connection form.
- Check that the selected team, project, app, or organization is visible to the credential.
- Disconnect and reconnect after changing provider permissions.
- If it still fails, export a sanitized report from Settings → Diagnostics and review it before attaching it to your email.
App Store Connect keys
Use an active team API key whose Issuer ID, Key ID, and selected .p8 file belong to the same App Store Connect team. App Manager or another role with access to the selected apps and read access to builds, TestFlight, sales, and reviews may be required for the views you enable. ShipIsland reads the chosen file for immediate validation, stores the key material in Keychain, and does not retain the file path.
Notifications and background behavior
ShipIsland polls while its menu-bar process is running. If local alerts are missing, confirm notification permission in System Settings and review ShipIsland’s quiet hours. Launch at Login is optional and may require approval under System Settings → General → Login Items.
Purchases and refunds
The Mac App Store processes ShipIsland purchases, receipts, and refund requests. For purchase history or a refund request, use Apple’s Report a Problem service. ShipIsland does not receive your full payment details.
Remove local data
Disconnect every provider in ShipIsland before uninstalling so its Keychain credentials can be deleted. Then remove the app. If you need help locating remaining sandbox data, contact support without sending private files or credentials.
